American Advisors Group Mortgage credit decision / underwriting April 6, 2016 - I have been helping my sister apply for a reverse mortgage. I bought a home approximately 16 yrs ago through a mortgage and sold it to her on a land contract to help her out. Difficult times costs her a second job so it got tough for her to make the payment these past few yrs. When she turned - she applied for a reverse mortgage ( - 2016 ). At that time she stated she had a land contract and asked if there would be any issues-we were told no. Now after three months and $450.00 in an appraisal fee, there are issues.
