The dealership told me they could get me a loan elsewhere allowing me to buy the car I really wanted which was higher than my loan approval. The dealership stated we could do an even trade of the value of the new vehicle to be the same as what I owed on the old one. So I took out a loan on the new vehicle believing the dealership was going to pay off the old one.
