Debt collection false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount February 18, 2017 - I have disputed the account several time with - being that the original amount owed of $880.00 reflecting on my credit file does not match the original amount of $850.00 documented on the paperwork provided to me by the collection agency. For the record this discrepancy is yet to be fixed despite several disputes. Attached you will find a copy of the aforementioned document. The gentlemen stated to me that he was unable to send me a copy of my lease because they no longer had a hard copy due to it being 6 yrs ago.
