Capital Accounts, LLC Debt collection disclosure verification of debt right to dispute notice not received September 17, 2016 - I was sent to collection for a vet bill. I never had the opportunity to resolve the debt as it was sent to the incorrect address. After noticing it on my credit report I contacted the debt collection agency for - reasons. 1 is the amount is incorrect and 2 I had made a payment towards this bill. I have a copy of the original bill which was $420.00. I was put into collection for $660.00. I requested several times for a breakdown of this difference in the amount owed. Capital Accounts, LLC Debt collection false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount January 20, 2016 - Contacted me - - attempting to collect a garbage bill that was 3 years old that I had no idea I owed. Their amount was the wrong amount and I disputed it. They sent an updated invoice in - and called in -. I paid the amount on their bill at which point they notified me that they placed this on my credit report. The operator was beyond rude and would not let me verify that the information he was reading to me was incorrect. I will be suing this company for defamation as I paid for a debt that was not valid. ... |
