In an effort to find out what they were attempting to make contact with me I called the number provided. Rash Curtis and Associates Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls December 13, 2016 - I have been threaten with a law suit and I constantly receive calls from Rash Curtis Associates at least 2-3 times a day sometimes 4 and I have asked them not to contact me. I did business with an Attorney back in - and he was fully paid. I received a notice from Rash Curtis Associates in -/-/-, alleging I still owe the firm that is no longer in practice a debt of $18000.00. The notice states the debt was for services rendered on -/-/- which is more than 7 years old. I also advised the rep that I paid the debt in full. I disputed this item with both the original creditor and the collection agency. This account was opened in my name fraudulently. When the company verified this account, there was no association to my social security number, driver 's license, or address. It just has a name that is close to mine. This company is refusing to follow the laws by removing this unverifiable, fraudulent account.
