December 15, 2015 - I have made a purchase on a house I was scheduled to close on Monday, -/-/-. I initially applied for a mortgage loan through TD Bank back in -/-/-. April 23, 2015 - My husband passed away - -, 2014. Since that time, TD Bank has refused to talk to me. My husband 's death constituted a hardship, and I have been unable to work on a loan modification, request Florida 's Hardest Hit Funds, or appeal to any other kind of avenue to prevent a default of the loan.
