November 9, 2015 - I had a - in - - and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. I had medical insurance at the time but I did not have my insurance card at the time. Later, I called and provided my insurance information but the amount on the bill never changed. I called again but they insisted that I still owed the same amount regardless of insurance. After my refusal to pay, due to the refusal to apply my insurance, they sent my account to a debt collector.
