Debt collection communication tactics used obscene/profane/abusive language June 15, 2015 - I received a phone call at my place of employment from a man stating he was pressing criminal charges on behalf of a payday loan that was not satisfied 3 years ago. I asked that he not contact me at my place of employment and asked for a number to call him back. I promptly called back to find out what the issue was. The man stated that I was a criminal that defrauded a payday loan company and that I was being charged.
