December 30, 2016 - Mortgage service provider send me a letter in -/-/2016 bringing to my attention that my mortgage loan has outstanding late fees. This is after over 20 months of them charging me a late fee every month. As soon as I was made aware of the late fees, I made the necessary change to prevent further late fees from being incurred. I should have been notified right away, after the first month the late fee was charged. July 22, 2016 - I refinanced my condo. the new loan is serviced by Midwest Loan Services. As was my old loan. I have never been late. Until, I paid my first payment on the new mortgage. I requested they add a homeowners insurance impound so the amount of the payment changed and I made two payments. I was off by - cents. They were nice enough to call me right before a week- end and requested my checking account info for the - cents. They said bill pay pay might not be in time. June 1, 2016 - I went through a HAMP with my mortgage servicing company in -/-/-. The process was long and ended with me calculating my payments and sending that information to my mortgage servicer to draw up the paper work correctly. I should have known then that this company was not equipped to handle my loan. Today is the first time I found out that if a person pays on time they can get an incentive through the HAMP program. November 19, 2015 - The mortgage servicing company for - - -, -, Az. failed to return excess funds at the close of escrow on - -, 2015. There appears to be a large accounting error and poor management oversight with our escrow account. The company Midwest Loan Service , Inc., failed to respond to therequest by the Title and escrow company handling the sale of our property. This failure has caused extra funds to charged via escrow at closing that were already covered in the escrow account. June 26, 2015 - My mortgage LTV is currently 77 % and the mortgage service company will not remove my PMI. They have sent a new letter stating I must have a 75 % LTV. Last year, when the LTV was at 79.6 %, I sent a written request to remove PMI and they denied my request but did not explain what specifically disqualified my request. This was a refi but I 'm not seeing anything in the rules making it different from an original purchase.
