I had an account with - which terminated in -/-/-. The account was changed to my daughter in law when I moved out. I told - to send me a final bill for payment. I did not receive a bill, so in the beginning of -/-/- I contacted them again, they said they had no record of the account, and said it must have gone to collections, and would have to wait to hear from them.In -/-/- I still had not heard anything from a collection agent or - so I called - again, again I was told to wait. By the beginning of -/-/- I checked my credit report and there was a derogatory mark on my credit report for a bill from a collection agency for -, and it was for more than triple the bill. I have contacted both - and Credit collection services to try to correct the matter, and neither will do anything other than demand payment. I already had this removed from my credit report once, and then it reappeared this month. I'm hoping you can help me, it would be nice to be treated fairly. I don't think that's asking to much.
