I have been paying on a student loan from - - - - for 28 years. I have records of all my payments which totals $57000.00 The original loan was $17000.00 on-/-/-1991. They say that I still owe $38000.00. They are going to take my tax refund and garnish my wages very soon if action is not taken. I have repeatedly written letters, applied for - Forgiveness with no results. They have turned the loan over to a collection agency ; Performant Recovery Inc. which I have also written and received the same reply, that I still owe the money in question. PLEASE HELP!!!
