Citibank Credit card department,
Received transfer balance offer from citicard/citi.com/-, to transfer a balance. Prepared to make a payment and was told by their csr that any payment made will go towards the highest interest charge rather than the 0 % balance transfer. This, in my estimation, allows for credit card companies to continue applying payments as they choose (! ) and allows for the application of several months of accumulated interest that serves in the best interest of the credit card company rather than the consumer! This is absurd! I am to accept that a company that makes as much as citi bank can not offer to split payments? I have n't lost any money yet but it is a ridiculous policy that serves only to trap consumers.
