Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low California

Thank You for your help, i have a account with bank of america. I knew my balance was low so on tues -/-/- i checked my account on line at - it was ok, so i headed to work i start at - i am a - so the time i checked my account was on wed -/-/- at - i seen that the bank had charged me $35.00 for not having insufficent funds ( - $6.00 ) i called the bank and i explained that i checked my account on -/-/- at - i explained to garret the supervisor what happened that the bank was closed from - to - a total of 15 hours common sense would tell you this is not right i told him that he should refund my money because i was not given enough time to correct the problem he refused..
