I opened a Citibank account -/-/- using promo code -, which was supposed to award me $400.00 by depositing $15000.00 into the new account within 30 days of opening it. Additionally, I needed to maintain a minimum balance of $15000.00 for 30 consecutive days after making the deposit. The $400.00 bonus was to be credited within 90 days after meeting the requirement. I met the requirement on -/-/-, thus the money should have been credited on -/-/-. I reached out to Citibank on -/-/- and they opened an investigation which was supposed to be resolved in 7 days. When I contacted them back, I was told that the investigation could actually take 30 days. After waiting more than 30 days, I reached out once more on -/-/- ; the rep told me that the case was still open and she was going to escalate it. After waiting more than a month, I do n't feel Citi is giving my case the attention it deserves as I have not received any communication from them alerting me of updates.
