U.S. Bancorp Credit Card Complaint

Unsolicited issuance of credit card

U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,

Unsolicited issuance of credit card California

We were notified in a letter from U.S. Bank that a credit card issued to my wife had expired. Neither my wife nor I applied for that credit card, which I was told by a U.S. Bank representative, was opened in -. I am shown in U.S. Bank records as an authorized user of the account, but it is my wife 's name. She has never applied for a credit card solely in her name since we married almost 35 years ago. We do have an existing credit card with U.S. Bank, which we think was first opened in -, that is a different number than the - identified in the letter.
