U.S. Bancorp Credit Card Complaint

Other

U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,

Virginia

-/-/- to CFPB Reference case number - ( a number that does not appear in your online database ). On -/-/- I submitted the above-mentioned case to CFPB. On -/-/-, the Elan unit of US Bancorp, wrote me ( see attached ) to say that a fraud had been committed and the charge had been reversed. They also said that they submitted a request to the consumer reporting agencies to remove any delinquencies but it " ... may take the agencies several weeks ... ''. It is now been over 8 weeks, and my credit score is still about - points below last -/-/- before this mess started. Does CFPB ever " close the loop '' and ask these companies to report when they have DONE what they promised? Elan unit of US Bancorp opened an account without my knowledge or consent. They ruined my credit score. Is this a matter for federal court, or state court? Please let me know who the perpetrator of the fraud was. Thanks.
