My Bank of America - - card recently revamped their rewards program. Essentially the way it was explained to me was that they were making the redemption requirements more stringent and only beneficial after a certain amount ( - ). Any rewards withdrawal before that threshold would receive less bonus. My credit card rewards have been changed and the changes only benefit the credit card provider not the consumer. My only recourse is to pass the - point threshold in order to receive my normal bonus ( that previously was available to me at anytime ) then close my card and find a card with a provider that is designed to benefit the consumer not the provider.
