I visited - in -, NJ in 2015. I paid for one month and was never told that they would be continuing to bill my credit card on a monthly basis. When I finally realized it I contacted - and was told that I was signed up for automatic payments and that I could not cancel unless I went in person to the facility. I immediately contacted my credit card company to dispute these charges. The credit card company has given me provisional credit and is working on the dispute. They also closed my card and issued me a new one. However, - has subsequently referred these charges to a debt collector - First Credit Services , Inc. - apparently signs people up for automatic payments whether they are aware of it or not and then refuses to cancel those payments upon request. These are shoddy, shameful business practices.
