I initiated a loan modification -/-/-. The process took over nine months to complete. The lender agent advised me that no payment was due during the process and never sent delinquent notices to collect the monthly payments. Upon reviewing my credit report, I discovered that the lender reported my account delinquent for the duration of the review process. After being a customer at Wells Fargo for over 10 years, I would think that they would not compromise my credit rating ; however that is not the case and now I am suffering a lower credit rating due to it.
