Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting my free annual report Georgia

Could not obtain free credit report from Experian using the annualcreditreport.com site because when Experian 's turn came their web site reported some error and gave a postal address to use to request a report. I visited Experian 's site ( to find a way to complain ) and saw an offer for my report and my credit score for $1.00, and agreed to the $1.00 cost, rather than go into the hassle of ordering a report by postal mail. They charged my card $1.00 on -/-/2016 and I received a score and was able to download my credit report. On -/-/2016 my card was charged $21.00. I immediately called Experian to request a refund. They informed me I had signed up for a recurring charge and no refund would be given. I insisted and asked to speak to the representative 's supervisor. After a brief wait another person came on the line and said no refund be given. I told her I would look for a way to report this and considered it a fraud and a scam, and that I never knowingly signed up for any recurring charge. She basically said " go ahead ''. it just was not worth the life stress that would be caused by pursuing the $21.00 already charged ( not knowing I could report it here ). Also I actually fear these credit reporting companies, which hold so much power over our credit, and I did not want to take the risk that someone at Experian might retaliate in some way. But today I saw a news report that seemed to indicate others had this same problem and the company had agreed to refund customers charged in the scam. I would like to add my claim to the list to be refunded.
