Wells Fargo as mortgagee : I applied for modification, took nearly a year. The offer came back higher than my original payment prior to mod application They WF took a deferred second from a previous mod of $ - plus and added it back into principal and tho the rate was lowered from 4 to 3.75 the additional principal obviously increased my payment I dont get where the RELIEF as in the word implies modification should increase my mo payment and WHY they would even think about adding back that large amount of money in my effort to seek RELIEF My PAYMenT WENT UP!
