U.S. Bancorp Credit Card Complaint

Transaction issue

U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,

Transaction issue North Carolina

Phone call at - EST time from a robocall, telling me that there is a suspected fraud on the credit card account, and that I need to call in immediately. After 10 minutes of voice mail jail with Fidelity / Elan robots, it becomes clear that the " Red Flags '' for fraud include multiple transactions from - - and - - - -, - vendors that we pay dozens of invoices to EACH AND EVERY month ( see attached statement ). Specifically, the " fraud alert '' for today 's charges is based on - transactions in a single day. Except that for each of the last 12 months, there have been DOZENS of days where we make - or more purchases from the same " Red Flag '' / suspicious vendors. Why is this suspicious? Why are these " Red Flag '' tests so primitive? Why are calls not made during business hours?
