U.S. Bancorp Credit Card Complaint

Closing/Cancelling account

U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,

Closing/Cancelling account Texas

I have called Fulton Bank 4 times over the last 6 months to close the credit card account of an estate for which I am the executor. Each time, I am told to provide the death certificate and proof that I am executor, and to call back a few weeks afterwards. Each time, I have faxed the requested documentation, and called 3 weeks later, only to be told that they do not have the documents. The last time, they said they got the death certificate but not the proof I am executor. I have faxed the Letters Testamentary from the Surrogate of - County ( stating I am executor ) several times. I have had enough of their incompetence. Every other creditor has been easy to work with and closed the account/credited any interest since the deceased 's date of death. I have no idea why this company can not improve customer service for those who have lost a friend or family member.
