Improper use of my credit report Report improperly shared by CRC Colorado

On - -, 2016, I responded to an online ad for a - position for - - - - disclosed online, their background requirements and the process for securing a job. Their background check screening goes up to 7 years so I applied for the position. Later, I learned that - - background check requirements was misleading when I received a copy of my background report from Sterling - - the " Background Screening Service '' where my background check revealed that a 7 plus year background screening was performed on me which, I was not aware of nor did I authorize - - or Sterling - to do. On - -, 2016, after I received my report from - -. I immediately requested that Sterling - investigate the errors on my report and demanded to know why their company disclosed information to - - that was more than several years old. I believe Sterling - clearly knew what


- - reported to the employer. On - -, 2016 I received an email from Sterling - Representative " - '' stating that she completed the investigation and that she sent me a copy of my report but, I have yet to receive it. Even if, Sterling - send me this report, the damages have already been done. - - sent me a new email on - -, 2016 with a second and final decision not to hire me. I believe that Sterling - is at fault for this and for violating the Fair Credit Act. I feel that I have a right to sue for damages in the state or federal courts and I need to know how to proceed in this case. I am going to attach a copy of the email I wrote to Sterling - CEO - - and - -. Representatives in regards to my complaint against both companies and I 've attached a copy of the background check that was emailed to me by - - including an online link to - - background check requirements.
