My mortgage was transferred form - - - - to Freedom mortgage. I was not notified that I would be required to change my account/ loan number for online bill pay. I continued to make my mortgage payments via my bank bill pay until I received a letter from Freedom Mortgage stating I had missed - - payment. I confirmed that the payment was processed with my bank and the payment for - 2016. My bank stated the payment had been sent to my previous mortgage company. Freedom Mortgage assessed late fees and turned the delinquency over to collections hurting my credit.
