This happens REPEATEDLY. Discover shows a current balance online that does n't reconcile with the information for the account. Amounts that were in the " pending charges '' section disappear and get added to the current balance WITHOUT placing them into the " posted activity '' section. Therefore, when I log into check my activity, it does NOT reconcile. I have to call customer service, and they read from THEIR screen, the charges that they have made disappear from my screen when I am logged into my account. I do remember the accounts, but this is not how to do business. If they know the amounts so that they place them into the current balance, then they should be able to add them to the posted transactions section so consumers can see it on their accounts. Not to do so amounts to fraud, as far as I am concerned. As I said, this happens FREQUENTLY with Discover. It is wrong, deceptive and misleading. They need to add charges to posted activity if they are going to list them as current balances. Please investigate this and let me know why they are doing this.
