On -/-/2016, a deposit of $940.00 from my - pension and $110.00 from my - - - pension was deposited into my Chase Bank personal checking account. I stopped at a Chase atm at - - - in -, NY to withdraw $600.00 however the atm was faulty and never distributed the funds. I stood in front of that same atm until the branch opened at - and the Chase representative immediately shut down that very same atm machine. He then called the home office and was advised that the account would be rectified within six ( 6 ) hours. I trusted their word and on -/-/2016, I checked my account via mobile banking only to learn that the funds had still not been credited back to my account as promised. Consequently, I returned back to the same branch on -/-/2016 and the same representative that assisted me on the initial incident date, assisted me again and made a subsequent call to the home office. At this time, my account was credited the $600.00 ( as a pending transaction ) and the home office representative advised that Chase was having problems with postings credits/debits to accounts and that I would have to wait until -/-/2016 for them to reconcile their books in order for them to make the necessary adjustments to my account. On -/-/2016, my social security benefits $1600.00 was deposited into my account and on -/-/2016, the pending $600.00 transaction was deducted again. Once again, I returned back to the same atm branch and a different chase representative called the home office again ( 3rd time ) and I was informed that they would credit another pending $600.00 until -/-/2016 and if Chase had not reconciled my account by then, the same pending $600.00 would again be deducted. To present date, I am still fighting to rectify my account since -/-/2016 when I NEVER received the initial $600.00 withdrawal from the atm and I have incurred numerous overdraft fees as a result.
