Bank of America Bank account or service department,

Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low California

I hold a checking account at - california and have been with them for nearly 6 to 7 yrs. now suddenly they say that i hold keep a minimum balance of $ .-/- all the time in my account. this was not the case when i opened the account. they charged me maintenance charges of $ .-/ which on complaining was reversed. I am a - with no income and my children deposit. money into my account when ever i need. I do not take ssi. hence there can not be any direct deposit. hence i feel that such compulsion of keeping balance mimimumm shoudl not be applied.
