After running my credit report in - I found that I had a collection that was placed by Credit Control Service on behalf - auto insurance. On -/-/- I reached out to - to verify. After I verified the amount I called Credit Control Service and verified their information that same day. The information that they had on file was not what was on my record. They were delivering information to the wrong address and never verified my account before assigning a debt to my credit reports. So, after negotiations I agreed to pay the bill if they removed it from my account. I gave the woman on the phone my - Credit Card number to pay the bill and she processed the card. The payment was complete and I can provide a copy of my - -. The payment date was for -/-/2016
