I tried to make a purchase on -/-/- from a specific website. The website is - based so my account was immediately blocked. The transaction timed out and did not go through from the website. I did n't receive a receipt or confirmation so I went online to my bank account to check and saw this : Pending Transactions Note : Debit card transaction amounts may change ( Learn More ) -/-/2016 PURCHASE - - $88.00 The funds are in pending status. I called Wells Fargo Claims -/-/- and spoke with a rep who said that there was nothing he can do about releasing the funds because it is under Pending status. He advised to call the company to have them release the transaction. I emailed customer service at the company and this is their response : Hi dear - Thank you for contacting the -.

I provided the transaction details through copy and paste like the above to the company 's rep in response to them. Still waiting to hear back. I tried calling Wells Fargo Claims department directly since that time -/-/-. 3 days has passed since I tried to make the transaction and I 've had to wait up to 20 mins or longer and have been unsuccessful with getting anyone on the phone. The Claims department at Wells Fargo is unwilling to release my funds back to my account and there is no way to reach them. I 've tried calling 4x now and each time waited 20+mins and no one answering. This is unacceptable service from a large bank.
