The United Mortgage Company contact me in - 2016 and I was told by a gentleman by the name of - that they can lower my mortgage payments by $100.00 per month. At this time I owned my house for almost one year and thought I could use the extra money each month. The incentives were I would not have to pay the new mortgage for 2 months, lowered monthly payments and no closing costs except I would have to pay the loan officer, title company and other incidentals in the amount of $2100.00. The closing took place on - - and come to find out they neglected to pay my - taxes for $3800.00 which have accumulated to over $4100.00 with late fees and finance charges. When I brought this to the attention of my loan officer - - - he was looking into it but has n't gotten back to me even though I called everyday for a week. I believe they did the wrong thing by me and they need to pay the taxes that were due when they were my mortgage company.
