I have federal stafford loans serviced by Mohela. While earning a subsequent degree, Mohela placed my loan into deferral 3 times " automatically ''. This occurred despite my written request to them, per their instructions, to not automatically enter the loans into deferent. On each occasion it has taken me at least one month to notice Mohela 's error however try havenot been willing to retroactively remove the ( albeit minimal ) extra accrued interest. When speaking with their staff, each time this happens I 'm told that my account is in order to prevent auto-deferral and this wo n't happen again.
