I am a - in the state of Georgia and I was hired to repair a home that had been damaged by a hail storm. The insurance check was sent to the homeowner in the mortgage companies name, Ditech Financial LLC, and the homeowners name. The homeowner endorsed the check and sent it to the mortgage company. After completion of the work the mortgage company was supposed to send a check back to the homeowner in my name and the homeowners name so I would be paid for the work. I submitted all requested paperwork to the mortgage company and they refuse to pay me for the work. The home owner and myself are on good terms and all work was preformed to the satisfaction of the homeowner.The mortgage company is stonewalling the payment for no apparent reason. I have been lied to by the mortgage company several times and at this point believe that the company has no intention of paying me. I have been left with no other option but to sue the homeowner for the amount due which is going to destroy our good relationship.
