Hello I recieved a letter several times telling me there a collection agency looking for me too pay $150.00 from a past medical bill when i was playing hockey in Indiana. The company is HRRG in - - Florida. my acct number with them is - and bill is from emergency prof of Indiana. My dad made arrangement with them to pay the balance. He then stopped that payment because this company i believe illegally put this debt on my credit report, and also same exact on my dads credit report. My dad has the health insurance and i 'm a dependent. When i went to dr i was told i wont be seen unless my social security number was put on paperwork, me being - i did it and now i 'm having negative credit on my credit report when it was perfect. They have been calling and i was told " you know this is yours so pay it and we can close out the file. On another occassion i was told it ca n't be held much longer and that it will go to our legal department where it will cost you more in fees. How can i have this removed from my credit file. I do n't want to be harassed anymore. Thank you - -
