In - of 2016 I was a victim of credit card fraud. I reported the fraudulent charges to Wells Fargo Bank. Wells Fargo took a report, canceled the credit card and told me they would issue me a new card. I later received a document stating that the claims and transactions I disputed were verified by Wells Fargo to be not allowed by me and they were removed from my credit card balance. I still had not yet received a new card and was also not able to access my credit card balance online nor make a payment. Around - - of 2016 I contacted Wells Fargo after receiving a letter stating that I needed to make a payment towards my account balance. I was transferred to - different people who were all having trouble even locating my account. I told them I was unable to see my balance nor make payment and had not yet received a new card. Finally, after some time they said the problem was that they had not issued me a new card, and once they did that account would be accessible online and I could start making payments once again. I disputed the late fees and charges due to not being able to access nor gain information my account, but we never came to an agreement on those charges. Today, - -, 2016 after still not receiving my new card and still not able to access my account, neither online nor via phone ( when I tried to access it via phone I would received an automated response stating " We 're sorry we can not continue with this transaction '' and then I would be disconnected. After speaking to - different people I was finally informed that my account had gone into collections even though I had not yet received my card not had access to my account as was promised to me by Wells Fargo. I tried to handle this matter and yet the things that were agreed upon on Wells Fargo 's end never came to fruition.
