On around - -, 2016 I found that my credit card was lost and reported this to Chase Bank. I contacted them via phone and by their secure message center. They advised me that the card would be shutdown. I advised them that the card had been lost during a TSA checkpoint along with our passports. We later recovered our passports, when a TSA official saw them lying on the floor of the airport. Apparently, the card was never shutdown since there were charges totaling about $26000.00 placed after - -. I contacted Chase Bank to let them know that there was still activity on the credit card on - - and at that time they reported the activity on the account as fraud and proceeded to close my account. I have a copy of the emails sent on the secure message center and the cell phone log to Chase Bank notifying them of the lost card on - -, 2016.


she stated an incomplete address without the apartment number listed. She also provided a phone number and email address not associated with me. She went on to state that " since the authorized user on the account had previous fraud on his account, this fraud is the exact same and will be rebilled onto the account. '' I advised her that I do n't know about the details of the authorized user 's previous fraud claims. I also advised her that hold requests were in place with the USPS and - mail services for our address because we were out of town ( hotel invoices were provided ). A USPS mail fraud claim was also filed on -/-/16 and a police report was filed -/-/- regarding these circumstances. A ID theft affidavit is already on file with the FTC and a credit freeze has been placed onto all of my credit reports. I feel that I have taken all the necessary steps in ensuring the security of my credit card account. I would like Chase Bank to absolve me of these fraudulent transactions, as per their cardmember agreement, and issue an apology for all the hassle they have put me throught. I am a chase private client with an impeccable credit history. Furthermore, I personally have never had any fraud with any of my Chase Credit Cards.
