Application processing delay North Carolina

I applied for a Chase Sapphire credit card. Chase denied my application. The reason given was I had received too many cards in the last 2 years. My credit score is over - and I have 20 years of clean credit history. I do take advantage of credit card offers when the rewards offered is equal to $100.00 or more. I think they denied my application because of this and because I do not carry a monthly balance with any credit card nor do I make cash advances or transfer balances. I think this is unjust discrimination. Can anything be done?
