My husband obtained a loan from US BANK for a - Ford Fiesta. My husband died in - 2011 and I have been making the monthly payments since. On - - of this year I talked to US Bank, got the pay-off amount, and gave them my bank info. They deducted the pay-off amount from my account. They told me I would get the lien release in several days. When it did n't come, I called ( about - - ). They offered no explanation for the delay but said it should be coming. I verified the mailing address. I contacted them again mid last week and was promised a call back within a couple days. No one has contacted me. I need the lien release in order to buy my tabs which are severely past due. The bank does not dispute at all that the loan is paid off ; yet it seems they are not sending the lien release! They offer no date that I should be getting it, nor any explanation of why it should take so long. I 'm at my wits end. My health is not that great and I sure would appreciate it if you can get them to send the lien release because I ca n't deal with this. I honestly do n't know what to do otherwise. Thank you.
