Bank of America Consumer Loan Complaint

Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease

Bank of America Consumer Loan department,

Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Nebraska

I have had several auto loans with Bank of America, all paid on time and in good standing using their eBill auto-payment functionality. In - of 2016, I logged into the BofA website and added an additional bank account to my profile that may be used for bill payment. I kept the original account on file, as this was tied to the auto-payment. Apparently, the addition of the bank account caused a failure in the - auto-payment. I noticed on - - that the funds hand not been withdrawn from my account and logged in and manually paid the outstanding amount for - and -. The website shows the payments were accepted and the funds were withdrawn from my bank account. Between - - and - - I received 21 auto dialed calls. On none of which were messages left, nor was any email or mail sent to inform me of my late status. The calls were automatically blocked by the built in - - - call protection service as spam/scam calls. I 'm filing this complaint because they are clearly harassing myself and others. When I noticed the number in my call protection logs, I called them on - - and they stated they did not show my payment as being applied, even though the funds were already taken out of my account. I was told the calls would continue until the payment was posted. I do n't think it should be possible to take someone 's funds and continue to harass the borrower. I have a credit score of - and have never missed a payment with BofA until their technical failure caused - 's issue. I remedied the situation within 30 days and did n't even request or receive credit for the late fees applied. Clearly, their automated processes lack oversight, timeliness, and reliability. This type of irresponsible harassment should not be something borrowers should have to experience.
