For my monthly statement with the due date -/-/2016 ( - - through - - ), the new balance was $3000.00. However, Capital One then reported my balance being $3100.00 without notice and added a $59.00 membership fee also without notice, seemingly attempting to put my card greatly over the limit, which brought my credit score down from - to - within the FICO reporting months of - 2016 to - 2016. I have paid $100.00 and the minimum was $97.00. These are unfair practices by Capital One. The should at least warn me when they will add a membership fee.
