Fidelity Capital Holdings, Inc. Debt Collection Complaint

Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.) Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine

Fidelity Capital Holdings, Inc. Debt collection department,

Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.) Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Texas

Looking at the documentation that was provided to me by both the credit collecting agency and the " Orginal debtor '', I have several concerns. The alleged receipts concerns me. ( I 'll refer to them from here on as " receipts '' but they are a list of charges with not explanation. I do n't believe they are valid receipts. ) The " Original '' receipt is just a list of charges with a signature from the manager at the time. When I contacted the debtor, it turns out that the original manager is not only no longer working there, but it was purchased by a new company. They have no idea what happened during that time at all. What 's more concerning is that other than my lease agreement, the only other " receipt '' is a copy of the original " receipt '' mentioned above with the words Make Adjustment written across it. That " receipt '' is also months older than the original. - were signed by the same manager. It looks like - receipts are invalid. More over, when I contacted them to better understand the charges, they could n't provide me with any information.

''. However, not only have they had that debt for more than a year, they did n't contact me about it and decided to give it to debt collection agency a month or - ago. None of this makes any sense to me. I believe that what they are claiming is fraudulent and they are attempting to extort money from me. When I contacted the collection agency, I requested that they provide me with a debt verification consistent with Texas Law. ( As I currently reside in Texas ) They could not provide all the required information. Under Texas law, if they can not verify that the debt is mine as well as prove they hold a Texas surety bond within 30 days, they are required to delete my debit trade line from their system. Fidelity Creditor Service had refused to do so. I also brought up my concerns about the validity of the debt and Fidelity Creditor Service will not address it as it 's not in their interest to do so.
