CFPB, The amount of the allege debt in question is $1200.00. This amount should be $200.00. I have been trying to resolve this matter with Central Financial Control and only to be ignored and transfer from department to department with no resolution in sight. I have sent out request for verification of this debt which requires Central Financial Control to obtain proper account level documentation and they have yet to provide me of this from the original creditor ( - - - ). I even went as far as contacting - - - and they have no records of this debt in their system. Central Financial Control continues to collect and report to all - credit bureaus. In addition to this Central Financial is reporting to the credit bureaus that I 'm " Late '' causing severe damage to my credit report and score. How can this be when CFC is a collection agency and not lender or financial institution that grants installment or revolving lines of credit to consumers. This is a violation of the FCRA and FDCPA by misrepresentation of themselves. Another issue is " 1 month term '' being displayed. Again what contract or agreement did I enter with you at the time when you purchase this debt from - - -. You are engaging in misleading and deceptive practices and collecting on debts that you can not obtain proper verification.
