PNC is a bank that uses predatory, misleading, and bait-and-switch tactics to trap customers. I was convinced by a PNC bank representative to open up a checking account with them. He told me that I 'd even get a $400.00 bonus credit if I receive direct deposits onto that account totaling $5000.00 or more. I direct deposited over $5000.00 as dictated by the terms. No bonus credit was ever received. As if that was n't frustrating enough, the bank will not let me close my account without charging me a series of ridiculous fees. This bank is extremely predatory, lies to its customers, and traps their money. Even leaving my account open, they have found excuses to charge me various " service charges. '' I have, several times, attempted to contact PNC Bank, only for their representatives to hang up on me spontaneously without addressing my problem at all. This bank will absolutely attempt every tactic to frustrate its customers into being complacent with having their money stolen.
