Chase requested that I pay them for a delinquent credit card account. I asked for them to validate the account but they were not able to do so. Since they could not validate the account I requested they remove it from my credit file and not contact me any longer. They left it on my credit file and wrote the debt off sending me a - to file with my tax return.
