I make an ATM deposit every 2 weeks or so at my local chase bank. Included in that deposit is my husbands paycheck. When he forgets to endorse it, I do. I have been depositing the checks for years with no problems. Chase has changed their ATM system and now each time I try to complete a deposit I get a screen that says a " customer service representative will be with you to go over your deposit. ". Then I have to search someone down who is not busy to continue my deposit. This usually takes between 5-10 minutes. Last week, I found an employee who left her office and looked over my deposit. She said " did you endorse these checks? '' I told her " yes ''. She said she could n't accept my husbands pay check. I told her I had been depositing this same check for 30 years with no problems. I did not want cash back I just wanted to make my deposit. By this time I was there 15 minutes for a transaction that should have taken 3 minutes. I was fed up since it was the 3rd time in a row that


a check.. The total of my check was $87000.00. At no time did she call over a manager or offer my other solutions to my problem. I told her that I thought it odd that she would just hand over this much money without making any effort to retain me as a custumer. She told me she had made a note of my complaint when entering my info in her computer. With that, I left. I opened a new account the next day at - -. Though I do not want to bank with them anymore, I just wanted a record of how thoughtlessly I was treated that day.
