U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account Oklahoma
My ex-husband and I held a joint credit card account. When I applied for a loan recently, it was brought to my attention that this particular account was overextended and in default. My ex-husband was responsible for closing this account and opening a new - after our divorce, thus removing me from it entirely. Since he has not, the status of the credit card is adversely affecting my ability to purchase a car or a home, which I plan to do at the end of the year. I paid the account off in full in - before our divorce was final in -.
