I bought a dining set -/-/- from - - on -/-/2015 using my American Express card. I was told I would receive the furniture within a week. on -/-/-, I received an email from - - stating, " ORDER ID : - Dear - -, Your order has now been shipped from the manufacturer and is currently en route to our delivery company. Generally this process takes about 1 week. Once the order arrives at the local delivery company, they will inspect the order, and delivery time date will be scheduled. '' However, for two weeks, I had n't received the furniture nor had I heard from - -. I called the company and more phone calls followed. On -/-/- I received the following email, " Order Routing ORDER ID : - Dear - -, Good News! Your order is currently being routed for shipment. -, a white glove furniture delivery company, will be contacting you in the coming days to schedule your delivery. We will deliver on the next trip in your area.


will be shipped soon. After a week, my wife called and - hanged up the phone. I called and was given the same excuse as before. With no good resolution in sight and my confidence in the company dipping low, I cancelled the order on - - and called American Express disputing the charge. American Express noted the dispute but did n't contact me with the merchant 's response and a satisfactory resolution. When I contacted AME-, I was told the charges had been re-instated. I disputed the $280.00 due to me. AME- again did n't contact me. I contacted AME- again with the same result. I am very frustrated with both the merchant and the credit card company. - was a - trusted store and had AME- gotten back to me on time, I could have contacted - to resolve the issue. Now, after eight months, I am still chasing to resolve the issue with AME- doing a shoddy job.
