Bank of America Consumer Loan Complaint

Vehicle loan Taking out the loan or lease

Bank of America Consumer Loan department,

Vehicle loan Taking out the loan or lease Nevada

I was told by a loan officer the amount I was approved for after checking my credit and putting me on hold ( this was done via phone ) and speaking to an underwriter. The officer then told me the amount and I verified it. The officer described to me the next steps and went over the documents I needed to submit. They told me I would need to paydown my 10 day payoff first and that the bank would only forward with the paydown under the approved amount. With this information I proceeded with paying down the amount and adjusting my budget accoring to what I had been told. The day after the loan had all of my documents submitted I was called and told the amount I was approved for had changed. I tried to escalate the matter but was told nothing would change.
