JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
I made an electronic payment to Chase Cardmember Service on -/-/2016 for a credit card payment due on -/-/2016. My bank transmitted the payment to Chase electronically at - - on -/-/2016 ( a business day ) and debited my account on that same date at that time. Chase posted the payment five days later on -/-/2016 and then charged me a $39.00 late fee. Chase 's posting practice is patently illegal, fraudulent, and designed solely to generate fees.
