In - 2015 I advised PNC that I was changing banks and that I wanted accounts and CC processing services closed. In - I received a letter demanding payment for $210.00 in service charges. I contacted a PNC representative and we agreed to a final payment of $120.00. That payment was immediately sent and PNC cashed the check within the week. Today I received another terse letter demanding $39.00 or the will damage my credit report.
